Quenya for Sunday, or the second day in the Edarin six day week. Anar = Sun
Anarya shares the job of managing a fire temple with her brother Andune. She would rather be outside socialising with other dragons than actually managing the temple, which she leaves to her brother. Apart from socialising, she is rather fond of astronomy.

Anarya is the life of the party, she generally steals the spotlight anywhere she goes and if she doesn't she charms her way in. Some dragons compare her beauty to that of a goddess, some compare her temperament to that of a show off. She couldn't care any less how others thought of her, which can end up reflecting some snobby, selfish behaviour.

Possessing great talent in speaking, she is usually the dragon to consult the deities. Most of the in-temple work is done by Andune as Anarya prefers to travel to bless hatchlings and represent her clan at meetings. She has many acquaintances from her travels, making her a helpful dragon to talk to.

Anarya shares a strong bond with her brother. They both wear matching necklaces and look after the temple together. Although Anarya is the more outspoken and aggressive of the two she is always sensible and respectful to him. She is also the youngest of the two, although only by half an hour! If there is anything Andune and Anarya disagrees with, it's the opinion of their siblings. Unlike Andune, Anarya is always excited to see her siblings and completely respectful of their religious choices. She commonly takes journeys to visit her family and far-away friends, although these are always without Andune.

Sorbet and Anarya have been close ever since Sorbet arrived at the Caravans. They both enjoy sun-bathing out on the rocks and gossiping. Sorbet commonly uses Anarya as a model and mannequin for her sewing projects, of which Anarya happily is a part of.
