Dear Mother and Father,

I'm writing to you to tell you a happy Thanksgiving, and to say that I'm fitting in perfectly well in my new clan. I would like for you to know, firstly, that we live near the Twisting Crescendo in the Wind Flight. It's so incredibly windy and rainy here, but I enjoy it, because that means that the autumn leaves change to many a beautiful shades of red, orange, brown, and yellow! It's so pretty, and I can't wait for the snowfall here (although it isn't quite as much as you would get in the Southern Icefields). You would truly enjoy it, especially with all the colors at this time in the year.

Speaking of colors, I've run across many a dragon here, each with their own backstory and strong personality. I've become friends with most of them, and I think that they're honest and kind, much like how you would've wanted me to be. Not every dragon is monotonous, and they each speak volumes and vibrancies of colors. My synesthesia makes me categorize my friends' names and voices into different colors and shades of colors. Some are soft and pretty, while others are vibrant and loud, or dark and obscuring.

I think the friend I love the most here is Sherani. She's a small pearlcatcher with a very big Tigerblood Foo. Her voice makes me think of a foo's coat, and she purrs as well! Her foo, named Saradaar (Sard for short), is twice the size of her, and enjoys the leaves a lot. Once this past week, he went out to play in the leaves, and it was the cutest thing!! He's like a big cat!...well, he is a big cat.

Having a big cat comes with consequences, though, as he often brings home "trophies" to us. Once, he brought home an entire dead owl, and wouldn't put it down, until I ripped it out of his mouth (eww...).

I hope that you and dad are safe and sound at home, and don't stay out in the cold for too long now. I know how chilly it can get there! Also, say hi to Angel to me. I miss you and my big sister so!
