"Today I learned that it was not Morgana, the looming guardian, who founded the Home Guard! Indeed, when I asked her to tell me the story of its founding, she merely pointed me to the training grounds. There I discovered the true founder, in the midst of instructing several hatchlings.

Circut, as she introduced herself after the lesson, is a brilliant blue nocturne whose jovial nature reminds me of Innkeeper Blue. Though clad horn to talon in glittering armor, she is amicable and approachable. Even despite the streaks of electricity that trail through her talons!

This aging battlemaster was kind enough to sit down with me that very day. Her story is detailed below, as is the recipe for the wonderful tea we shared!"

Personality // Circut shares her breeds' knack for mimicry and mischief, though her troublesome streak has calmed down since her youth. She also inherited much of Blue's amicability--and his love of tea. Though long since retired from active duty in the Home Guard, Circut finds joy in training the clan's up-and-coming fighters. Especially when she gets to prank them. She is a master at driving dragons just crazy enough that they put their best foot foward. Folks always expect battlemasters to be so serious! Circut delights in proving them wrong. Her endless energy and iron determination make her an ideal trainer, with just enough patience to work as a battle strategist during rare times of conflict.

Background // BACKGROUND
-- History // Circut came to the Clan of the Crosswinds as a hatchling, when her birth clan in the Shifting Expanse could no longer support her. They had no room for the energetic little nocturne. Blue, old friends with the clan from his travelling days, agreed to take her in. Circut was a handful from the start. She loved getting into trouble, whether that was disturbing nests, playing pranks, or attempting to catch the small birds (or fae) that populated the lair. She wandered into the Crosslands so often that she became very well acquainted with its guardians, Chinook and Kokuzokuneishin.

By the time she reached adulthood, Circut had cemented her reputation as a troublemaker, with a penchant for delivering static shocks to her victims. However, Blue was quick to find a use for all that energy. He trained her in fighting forms, and Circut took to it like a spiral to the sky. After discussing with Blue and Light, Circut founded the Home Guard, a group of warriors dedicated to protecting the Inn, its residents and, to a minor extent, the surrounding Crosslands. She served in this capacity for a long time.

However, in recent years, Circut has fallen back from the first lines and serves primarily as a trainer for younger dragons. The position of Captain of the Home Guard has been passed onto the young but promising Morgana.
