Schmetterling is a calm and humble dragon. He likes to take his time with things and look at the little things life has to offer. He spends hours a day just going birdwatching or looking at butterflies, which is significantly why he was named after them. Schmetterling thinks of himself as a pretty handsome dragon and likes to peer over the pond to look at his own reflection. He doesn't like the the company of other dragons and enjoys being with himself and just enjoying nature.

He believes that meeting his mate, Skye has been the best thing that has ever happened to him. The two met each other in the meadow and bonded quickly. They eventually flew off to find a nice home to raise a family.
