Biography

In spite of her rather intimidating appearance, Asteria really is far less frightening than her appearance would suggest. Her favourite past-time is playing pranks upon the various other members of the House, particularly if they are either much older or much younger than her. She is never seen without her best friend Moonshine, who, although never participating in Asteria's pranks, never seems to discourage her either.
Although not particularly fond of the hatchlings, Asteria seems to attract the younger members of the House, who seem fascinated by her, some even seeing her as an idol, possibly due to what the older dragons call her 'rebellious teenage phase'. Naturally, Asteria disagrees and simply tries to avoid the hatchlings where possible.
Being a Plague dragon brings additional distrust from a large number of other dragons, particularly the more close-minded older ones. However, Asteria possesses about as much malevolence as a kitten, and simply intends to humiliate and have fun with her pranks, rather than to maim.
Her sharp eyesight makes her an invaluable addition to the guard, and occasionally to the hunting party, in which she participates with zeal - she complains constantly about the boredom of guard duty, and will always jump at the chance to accompany the hunting party.
