Roguish son of the clan's first ridgeback, Needles became a body modification specialist after realizing how much he enjoyed poking, cutting, marking, and shaping flesh. His piercings and tattoos are among the best in the Scarred Wasteland. Only plague dragons tend to use his services, however, as his parlor is not known for its cleanliness. He doesn't particularly mind the unvaried clientele, as he's a bit of a plague flight supremacist; but still has trouble making friends with his sour personality.

Abandon and Razor often share clients and resources with him, but barely tolerate his presence outside of business transactions. While he's not fond of his parents, his mother, Briarshine, still visits him occasionally; always bearing gifts that he fails to appreciate. His father, the wildclaw druid Jin'zakk, goes out of his way to avoid him. Needles loves his pet scorpions more than most dragons, and even they are 'recycled' now and then...
