Pyrite had originally traveled to the Shrieking Wilds to start his own clan. Instead, he stumbled upon the Scath clan still in a shambles. Kyra had taken it back over but so many dragons had been lost she didn't know what to do. Immediately Pyrite knew it was his duty to help this clan and so he helped them sort out their belongings, move to a new nesting area and to help assign roles to the new dragons of the clan.
After a while of helping Kyra organise her large family he realised he wanted to be a permanent part of it. Although Kyra was still mourning her first mate, her connection with Pyrite was undeniable and after a few tentative months they became official partners.
Pyrite likes things to be organised and is always re-organizing the hoards and the treasure the clan has accumulated. Despite his habit of neatness and being teased for it he is a soft-hearted dragon who always wants the best for his clan.
