A wise dragon, quite intrigued by the ancient yet terrifying stories of The Shade, and fascinated by the raw potency of shadow magic and alchemy. Despite his own research and later, his own warnings, he experimented and delved quite too far. He first experimented on his own familiar, who, due to the dragon's own dark actions, soon turned into a twisted, unstable amalgamation of murky sentient obscurity. The dragon reeled back in unbelievable terror and vowed never to experiment with such dark magics any longer after witnessing such a horrific event. However... a true alchemist cannot resist the itch to experiment for long. In spite of his own devastating experience with such an atrocity, something pulled at him and his curiosity won the battle.


Momentary lapses are now a common occurrence. He has phases where he'll become completely imbued by the corrupt dark magics and seems to lose nearly all inhibitions. While seemingly corrupted the majority of the time, much to his own dismay, not all is lost. He constantly struggles to take back control, and his old self will have fleeting moments of self-awareness.
