Solanum

Solanum has a hard time understanding others and forming connections. He tends to take things literally, and doesn't do well understanding sarcasm or jokes. Because he felt that he never 'fit in' with his birth clan, he decided to leave (as many hatchlings do.) Instead of wandering aimlessly, though, he sought out the current home of his grandfather, Balder. He had never met him, but he had heard from his mother that his grandfather now lived in the water flight, giving him a general idea of where to look. Eventually, his search brought him here.
Solanum thought he would find more understanding with his grandfather, and while he certainly gets along with Balder, (as Balder gets along with everyone,) he quickly realized that just moving to a new place would't magically give him the social skills he was lacking, and still finds himself struggling to connect with others.
