New Journal Entry--Court of the Summer Spire, Fae Wilds
This ancient journal seems to be empty from the middle onwards. It's a shame there are no more secrets to be garnered from it, but I may as well use it to record my thoughts.

Today was another unusual day. While exploring that Eggbear cave that Grizz discovered, we rescued a captive Elf from Dwarven slavers. He revealed his name to be Steve*, and he kindly encouraged us to turn back as we were headed straight for Undershire, a town known for its corruption and slavery. We offered to escort him to the Court of the Summer Spire instead, though he refused and ended up turning the Owlbears on us.

After my companions each failed to apprehend him in turn, I made my go, attempting to knock the boy out with a few Magic Missiles. Unfortunately, my magic got away from me once again and not only did I break his leg, but a stray missile caused a Unicorn to materialize. Fortunately, the beast mended the Elf's leg. He quickly reconsidered our offer to escort him to the Court.

I was surprised how easily they let us in--a quick lie from Steve that we were family and we were left to mind our own in this unusual tree-top city. Tomorrow, I will seek an Elf knowledgeable in magic for some insight to my problems. For now, I am eager for the comfort of a real bed.
