The hatching of an egg, in most cases, can be rather insignificant, as hundreds to thousands of dragons are hatched each day. This one was different. Holly came into the world as a special creature with greatness already planned for her. Though she was hatched as a Guardian from a Wind nest, she soon realized that this form was not right for her. Though she knew that her shimmering wings were the only thing that felt right on her, she did not fear the changes that would ensue as time progressed. She cherished the thought of the moment when her hide finally looked as it should. The first major event of her life was finding her true home. She had been fostered and cared for by a kind and generous clan of Casters. Their cavernous lair was comforting and protective, though she knew it was not home for her. On the most festive day of the year, a day which is filled with generosity and kindness, the Casters' leaders approached her and instructed her to follow them to the Crossroads. Once they arrived, Holly was greeted by a pair of dragons who introduced themselves as Ash and Storm. Holly knew what this was about and said her farewells to ShadowCaster and SoulCaster, thanking them for their hospitality and care. She followed Ash and Storm to the area of Wispwillow Grove which they called home. Once there, the other members of the clan greeted her warmly and welcomed her into their lair. She felt more at home than ever before. After arriving, she felt a strange pull in her body. It was not centered in one location, but more across her entire body as if someone was pulling on her entire being, her soul. Suddenly, the pull began to shift and it all seemed to be drifting to one central location in her chest which grew and exposed itself, seeming to take on a physical form outside of her body. She reached for the orb, attempting to stop this odd phenomenon, only to realize that her claws were different. She looked at them, not even realizing the solid orb that she held in her hands.
