Wayke

Familiar > It's very interesting for a born Nature dragon to obtain the following of a shadow scavenger Familiar. When Wayke was pretty young, he set out of his families' home and went traveling all over the world. For a short time he ended up lost in the Tangled Wood. He hadn't seen any other dragons for days, and Beastclans were annoying him. He was held up in a small cave as a temporary lair for a few nights. One night he was awoken by the sound of something digging. Wayke creeped out of the cave, the moon shining onto the scales of Nightsky Fuiran, scrounging around in the dirt no doubt trying to find ant left over meat or insects. From then the two's relationship was fairly ordinary, Wayke struke up a friendship with the Fuiran. And if a few weeks, when Wayke was ready to leave the Tangled Wood, the Fuiran decided to go with his new friend. Today they are still together.

History > Wayke is the leader and unelected crown of Rosen Erde. When the Domain was only just starting up, Wayke toke over, and no one argued enough to oppose him. He had gathered a formidable loyal following and the rest of the dragons had to get in line or get out. He turned the original view of a democracy driven Clan into a monarch lead Domain.

Personality > The other dragons noticed a drastic shift in Wayke's personality after the falling out with his Matriarch, Hyacinth. Before, he was kind and thoughtful toward others, and very social, if a bit "lost in the clouds". He throughly encouraged trade and communications between other Clans and animals. Although now he's quite different. He's much more prone to angry outbursts and hot headedness. He disappears for hours on end, coming back looking depressed and sad. Although the past few weeks have been much better, thanks to his friend Esma.

Relationships >
Hyacinth > What's a Patriarch without his Matriarch? Currently his 'mate' is the Skydancer Hyacinth. If the two were not both Pat and Mat of Rosen Erde, they would have split up a long time ago. Over the past few months they've stopped, loudly, verbally fighting and instead have conceded to not speak to each other, instead they correspond to each other through the Warden, Muro. Which isn't very good if you have to run a Domain together.
Harkness > The other dragon he really doesn't enjoy being around. But with Harkness it's a physical hate, with Hyacinth it's more emotional. The two have been enemies since they were hatchlings. Neither of them remember why they came to dislike each other, but it's still there.
Esma > Wayke's friendship with Esma is a relatively new one, that started a wile after his fallout with Hyacinth. They can be seen laying beside each other, talking, they go on long walks through the sounding territory together. Esma is who really saved Wayke from the depression that hit him after his split with Hyacinth. She was, and is, his crutch to lean on.

Role > As Patriarch, his role is to lead and control the entire Domain alongside the Matriarch, Hyacinth. He is generally concerned with the more 'big picture' ideas and problems. Menial day to day tasks are put to his Warden, Muro, to deal with. Wayke may have taken the position of leader in a shady way, but lucky for the Domain, he is a very capable and good Commander. He knows how to delegate, when to make the hard decisions, and how to deal with convicts, all thanks to his Skydancer ability to read other's energies. He is one of the better trained dragons in combat, and that shines through his leadership, conducting his group of dragons in a very disciplined and mannered style.
