「If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change.」

Saranyu is a loving and gentle individual who has a strong sense of righteousness. She believes that everyone should be treated fairly and will stop at nothing to defend her friends and loved ones. This often leads her to pick sides, something she does not enjoy. Even so, she tends to side with the underdog a lot, with a firm belief that everyone deserves a chance to prove themselves.

This led her to discovering the shy and reclusive Azmath when he was confronted by other dragons who wished to pick a fight with him. Taking pity on the frightened coatl, she defended him and sought to spend time with him after discovering how he was treated as a runt amongst the dragons he had known. Eventually, trust grew and developed into feelings of love, and the both of them enjoy spending time in each other's company.

Dressed lavishly in expensive silk, Saranyu is a coatl who dresses solely to impress. She has a hobby of picking the few flowers and shrubbery that grow in the Shifting Expanse and studying them in her free time. Various times, she would often lament about how she has not born somewhere else far away, where there are blooming trees and brilliant flowers every step of the way.
