A whirling plume of spiced smoke, compressed into flesh, caged by bone; his heart pumps blood that is slow, bitter to the taste, and golden. He holds himself with the poise and grace of someone blessed by the divine; like his namesake his blood is used, more than occasionally, to anoint new members, and to mark the passing of old ones.

He is a bitter soul; he feels that the pain of extraction is not worth what is paid for his blood, and is conflicted about such feelings. It is a blessing to be used in such a way, is it not? But perhaps not - perhaps not after all. He is a conflicted fellow, and thus he remains quiet, not seeing it right to speak his mind when he cannot even decide on one course of action. (x)
