I'm one of Skye's best friends, and I just don't see how anyone could say she's mean. I'll admit she's not the most happy go lucky. And she can seem pretty stubborn. She also takes a little bit to understand jokes sometimes, but she's really knowledgeable about battle.

"She's not mean," I retort, "I'll agree she can be a bit harsh sometimes, but can't everyone?"
"No one's ever as harsh as her," the old guy continued.
"I bet you've been pretty harsh in your days, so why don't you just stop?" I argue.
"And she's just so stubborn. I asked her for a few White-Masked Dustbugs yesterday and she refused even after I agreed to give her way too many gems than I should've!" he yelled, angrily.
"She just likes to collect." I walk off, a bit too angry to continue talking to the old guy. Instead, I head on over to Skye's den. I'm not surprised to find her sleeping.

"Some old fart who said he came to talk to you yesterday was just talking to me. He says you were being unnecessarily rude and stubborn to him. I tried to explain to him you just collect... everything but he just didn't get it. I know you're one of the nicest dragons I've ever met. I know how much you excel in battle the shade-captured. I'll always defend you as long as we are together. Even if others don't see the beauty in you, I always will."



When I finish, I hear her exhale, and murmur, "Thanks, my love.")
