A newly surfaced Ancient, Glass demonstrates control over the winds and, to a lesser extent, the weather. He has been a boon to the clan: shepherding in mist, steam, clouds, and local smoke to veil the volcano of Clan Cineres. He is also the dragon responsible for the airflow throughout the lair: helping to make it liveable for all of the dragons residing therein.

In addition to these roles, Glass finds himself as one the clan prince's advisers and protectors. Glass offers insight on battle tactics, and keeps the prince informed of weather patterns so that the clan can be ready to work around them if needed (though this mostly applies to the gatherers).

Zephyr is a curious and playful little adventurer: constantly pestering Glass to leave the volcano and explore new areas. While Zephyr should be feared for his power, he is instead well-loved by his clan, especially the hatchlings. Zephyr doesn't seem to have a mean bone in his body, but those who have crossed him and Glass before know better: this little sprite can whip up powerful whirlwinds in mere seconds! That being said, he doesn't have much of a taste for combat and prefers to hide inside his master's mane.
