General:
Lotus, originally Daphne, is the clan's musician. She makes her own music and can play quite a few instruments; a harp, violin, piano, pipeflute and ukulele. At the moment she's also learning to play a saxophone, it has proven to be pretty difficult, it feels like she has too little lung power. She can't sing very well, but she has a sharp tongue and is quite witty.

Lotus feels very passionate about music, but sometimes she feels like she's not getting enough credit. Especially when performing together with Arabesque. Arabesque always gets all eyes on her, she's truly so beautiful. Lotus feels like she's left to Arabesque's shadow, and envies her. If it was up to Lotus, she'd get all the attention to herself at all times. Although she is adored by many and has several lovers, it just isn't enough for her.

Lotus has a special ability to breath fire, and she's quite skillful with it too. She controls the fire well, lighting up small candles easily as well as burning down a forest with one breath, if she wishes. It's not as common dragon trait as many might think. For self defense and for the cold winters, breathing fire is a excellent talent. Fire running through her veins, Lotus never feels cold, and her skin glows in the night. When she gets angry, her cheeks glow red, and blowing off some steams (literally) makes her feel much better.

Lotus never really cared for her birth name, Daphne, so when she had the opportunity to change it, she picked the name of her favorite flower. She enjoys the beauty of nature, if she didn't have the passion for making music, she'd be a gardener, she tells. Lotus also likes theater and art. She admires greatly Serena's paintings, even if sometimes she doesn't understand their meanings, and Umbrella's magnificent plays, as chaotic as they might be.

Lotus loves spending time with her friends. Rarity is her best friend, they've been besties forever. And she truly enjoys spending time with Arabesque too. Even with the envy she has, it can be all pushed aside when having fun together. Getting manicures and making sushi are few of her favorite activities to do with her friends. Lotus also enjoys gossip, she can talk for hours with her girlfriends about the latest rumours, never caring too much whose feelings could get hurt.

Maurice is a Cactus Marzal, very spiky creature who values his privacy above all else. He's not the kind of pet who likes to be petted or pampered. He's like a cat that needs several hiding places at home and runs around franticly at night time. He likes to eat insects, especially spiders, keeping Lotus's house bug free.
