As Shadowborn has decided to retire from her duties as Clan Shaman, the responsibility of taking care of the Clan's magical needs will fall to Magonia, who is currently training hard to take up the position of mage.

Though she is still quite an inexperienced youngling, she is being taught by the best, she thinks. Shadowborn and the Sacred Tide Clan's Shaman, Sapphire, who is a more powerful mage than Shadowborn, though Shadowborn is more experienced and knowledgeable. Sapphire was roped in as she is a better spellcaster, and that's what Magonia needs more practice with. Shadowborn says that she's only proficient at using battle magics, not so much others, though she understands the theory.

So yes, Magonia is a busy, busy, busy dragon. She spends her time mostly studying up for whenever Shadowborn decides to hit her with a pop quiz and writing down runes and symbols and waving her wings weirdly in the air so she can show Aunt Saffy (never tell anyone she calls her that) that she's perfected a spell.

No, Magonia does not want to go out and play or meet new dragons. Or look at that cute Pearlcatcher over there. Shut up!
