Goldson

If there's something you need something looked up Goldson's the dragon to cone to. His lair's full of books and small nicknacks From Bruno. Along with that it's full Maps from various regions. He once came to the area on accident, taking a left instead of a right. He got curious at the site before him. Dragons seemed to waltz about busy with things. Goldson decided to stay, peaked by his curiosity over this seemingly hidden place.

He opened a blank journal and began writing about the dragons he saw and the plants and animals nearby. His writing gained the attention of dragons who watched as he took notes. Eventually word spread to Bruno who approached the other dragon. After a bit of chatting he brought him to his lair. The gray dragon was impressed by all his writing and hired him as a record keeper.

While working for Bruno Goldson had noticed a green wildclaw seemed to visit a lot. Once, while writing down what she wanted he caught her name, Chroma. Goldson was interested, watching and taking note of how many times she came in. After work he spoke to Bruno, wanting to go with her. Bruno agreed and upon her next visit he asked to join her. She however declined, thinking he couldn't handle the work. Goldson spoke with her several times after and she agreed, if he could prove himself.

He left Bruno's working, following Chroma on a mission. It didn't go as well as he hoped, nearly slipping, almost falling down caverns, and other things. Chroma, upset over this told him he should've stayed with Bruno and he another chance to prove himself. The second time however, went better, most likely because she had to find something easier and the journey to it wasn't a difficult. Chroma decided to let him come with her, occasionally on easier missions. Goldson was happy over this.

Trying to better himself for more missions Goldson began running around the clan and did a few short exercises when he could. The next time they went out he was able to clear a gap much easier then before. Though not entirely impressed Chroma thought of the other dragon as less of a dead weight and more of a novice.

While out getting spare parts for Bruno he came upon a dragon, wandering the woods. Goldson approached Mateja. Noticing it looked as if the dragon had seen better days he took him with him. Wondering what happened to the dragon's parents he wandered back to Bruno's, the other dragon in tow.

Having known most of the dragons he wondered if some new family wandered in. Lost in his thoughts he was warned by Mateja about a dragon she called White Claw. Puzzled he noticed her image on.the other's pearl. Not far from Bruno's Goldson picked the other dragon up and headed inside. Seemingly out of nowhere Kullervo appeared grabbing at Mateja. Goldson aiming a back claw at Kullervo kicking at the white dragon, missing most of her but leaving a fin torn. Not stopping she chased the dragons into Bruno's shop where Mateja was pushed towards the back. Though the fight wasn't easy Bruno and Goldson managed to drive Kullervo off. After double checking over the pearl catcher they both found Mateja unharmed, though shaken up. Unable to find any of Mateja's parents Goldson took him home.

Having never seen the white dragon before Goldson began asking around and looking at books pertaining to the history of the clan or area. Unfortunately he couldn't get anything solid with most information coming as rumours or speculation.

Though keeping an eye out for Kullervo Goldson hadn't seen the dragon on the way home. The next day upon asking where Mateja's parents were the pearlcatcher answered that they were thrown out and revealed the blank pearl. Though unsure Goldson took some time to do some research himself, first looking for Mateja's parents before researching on the dragon's pearl. Having no luck with the former Goldson allowed her to stay with him, treating the dragon like a younger sibling. On the later, despite looking through volumes of books Goldson could only find a single source about a pearlcatcher and the changing pearl, though this pearl only seemed to show food sources where Mateja's warned of danger.

Living with Mateja wasn't too hard for Goldson, he knew about pearlcatchers from his travels so feeding her was easy. What was proven difficult though were the occasional visits from Kullervo. Though they rarely happened, and only when Mateja was out of the lair, they eventually tapered down to none. Each time Goldson would almost act unlike his regular self, becoming overly protective of the pearlcatcher. Though he only saw Kullervo once during these visits a few attacks barely missing her face seemed to have given her the hint. He had noticed the damage earlier to her fin which was torn up. During these attacks or whenever Goldson was out exploding Mateja was left with Bruno.

Something else that Goldson had to get used to were the images shown on Mateja's pearl. Though alarming at first Goldson refused to abandon his younger sibling and often warned Bruno or tried talking to Kurbis. Though at first Kurbis dismissed the warnings he began taking them seriously, though not relying heavily on them.

Unsure of how this spread the clan was visited by some dragons seeking Mateja's guidance. Before seeing her though Goldson looked every dragon over carefully, unsure if Kullervo was sending them. Once approved they had a private meeting with Mateja who'd give them a warning on the future. With Kullervo roaming around they were ether done in a spare room in there lair or done in a room connected to Bruno's workshop. Despite a lot of dragon's coming to see her Goldson didn't let them visit if Mateja wasn't up to it. A dragon, not caring, crossed the line and served as a warning to all others. Not tolerating an outside dragon bothering his pack, and a young member at that, Kurbis attacked the dragon. Not enough to kill them but enough to think twice. Since then they've had little to no trouble with other dragons.

For Patrin

Once while working Goldson heard Kürbis' usual roar but ignored it as usual. It wasn't the first time the beastly leader was chasing someone off. Having never seen an obelisk before he had mistaken him for another Casubri and challenged him to a fight. The wildclaw's head turned as a he began hearing fighting outside. Glancing at Bruno the snapper gave him a nod before letting the wildclaw see what was going on. Outside he saw Kürbis and Patrin dueling it out. Kürbis had mistaken him as another Casubri and had challenged him to a fight. As the clan leader had never seen an obelisk before.

Claws flew and Kürbis had found himself with a hard time leaving dents in Patrin's hide. Kürbis was knocked back, flying into s few crates. As he began to recover he lunged at the other, managing to clamp his fangs around his head. Upon asking if the other surrendered Patrin answered with a yes before Kürbis released him. The Casubri was impressed saying the other was a good fighter and asked what Casubri clan he was from. When he said he was an obelisk that confused the other. It was at that moment Goldson took the opportunity to rush in and talk to the other. With Kürbis no longer realizing he was a Casubri he had let the other go, though he still had his respect. Goldson had never seen an obelisk before and was curious.

Showing him around as they headed off to the healer's Goldson invited him back to Bruno's workshop where he could stay for the day before they exchanged stories. At the healer's Patrin was given a potion and some bandages before he was sent on his way.

Patrin got comfortable in Bruno's shop as Goldson began writing away, though wanting to finish his work for the day before writing about Patrin. On the walls the other discovered lots of books, some talking about travels while most seemed to be about steam powered machines. From his discoveries he learned of the clan's use of steam and the different machines made to benefit the clan.

Once done for the day they headed towards Kuzamerella's with Goldson bringing a couple empty books. After giving I to get Patrin they both began to share stories and talk about obelisks. Patrin learned more about the steam machines how they served a bigger purpose then what the books said. He also learned about Goldson's travels before he stayed with the clan. Goldson had brought food for his new friend and soon they chatted through the night.
