Biography

Uh-oh, looks like this dark mercenary wandered a little too far from her lair (180358, wolfcathybrid), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here.

Inspired by the local rogue Iskala, Caeswyn (18944747) and her sister Caelum (18944748) decided to resort to a life of crime. Although their official titles differ, Caeswyn preferring to go by 'merc' and Caelum preferring to go by 'assassin', they work together, and are rarely separate. They keep their base of operations with the Clan of Whispering Willows, and in return for being allowed stay they both promised never to harm the clan, and often use their skills to help in whatever way possible. They often work closely with Iskala, as they consider her their mentor.

Caeswyn, like a good mercenary, doesn't talk much. She gets straight down to business, and does not accept any funny-business. She doesn't like to chat. Don't approach her unless you have a job for her. They set off from home in an attempt to find more business.
Schattenfeuer
Sadly, Clan Plague-Fang had no work for those two assassins. So, Caeswyn and her sister went on with their journey.
HauntedHeart
The two sisters wondered deep into Shadow Clan, there they came upon Haunted House Domain. Here they stayed, resting their feet and weapons. Before again taking off into the night without a word
Saints
The two sister went on their journey and stumbled upon an Arcane Clan and had stayed quite long and helped a lot! The two must go on their journey and look for new places!
Yorkiepooh
Due to the few months that was spent at Yorkiepoohs clan, the sisters have now became MEMELORDS
(yorkie no) Yorkie YES
wolfcathybrid
The two sisters decide to stop by their home clan and visit, and while there decide they would be able to do more work if they split up for a while. They promise to stay in touch and visit each other as often as possible.
KoryuEdelgard
Having wandered close to Clan Pyrope, Caeswyn began hearing rumors of an Earth clan with Plague origins. She trained with their scout team for a few days before leaving again. (Leveled to 6, no stat points distributed.)
VoxxVoleur
Delving deep into the Foxfire Grove next, Caeswyn came across a clan of refugees fleeing the Shade's presence in their last clan within the Scarred Wasteland. She traded protection from others in exchange for training from the survivors of their military force, before moving on.

She left with a Spirit Armor familiar as thanks.
Spirit Armor
Koyako
On the tip top of one of the Isle's older residents, she found a clan who loved to dress people up and the oddities that were the differences between the young and old. She left with a piece of apparel that she quite liked.

disconcerto
For some reason she managed to stay for quite a long time in the outskirts of the Certo Clan's territory. Perhaps it was because Aceri had been a little more gentle in dressing her up, or that she had managed to find refuge with The Outsiders of the clan. Eventually the bitter cold forced her to move on.

Scifur
She was travelling through her birth place when it started raining. A coatl spotted her and offered shelter. She was brought into a warm den, and they told her to rest, and so she did.
*****
As much as she'd like to stay in this clan she had to leave soon. Her wings were itching for adventure. If she were to describe the clan it was quiet, calming, and friendly. Of course probably other dragons wouldn't think that because they weren't born in shadow, but otherwise, she had a rather good time.
Saying good bye to the clan she left, forever grateful for them providing shelter and helping her train in the coliseum.
Elsaba0424
She wasn't able to travel that far into the Tangled Woods, because a certain Nocturne was a little too rash with "first impressions". I mean, attacking someone on their travels would literally leave a mark, but either way, she decided to stay with the prankster Nocturne's clan for a while. Probably to have a snack or two before she sets off again.

Caeswyn landed in the Ancient Lair of the Behemoth during the annual Greenskeeper Gathering and was soon befriended by a large and friendly clan of dragons whose main concerns seemed to be telling stories, making art, eating chocolate covered strawberries, and taking daily naps. They invited her in, replaced the hat that she had lost earlier in her travels, and gave her a daisy lei that the hatchlings had made just for her. It gave her a warm fuzzy feeling. And then Sapphire gave her an extra big hug and gifted her a pair of cozy socks. What an odd bunch of dragons. It was confusing. In her role as mercenary by all rights she should be looking around for things to steal, but these dragons seemed to give everything away. It certainly gave Caeswyn something to think about.

Caeswyn's next venture took her south, to the Sunbeam Ruins. Just as she was preparing herself a place to sleep for the night, the kind Wildclaw who had hugged her on her mind, a small explosion of magic not too far from her alerted her to the presence of other dragons nearby. Not wanting to take any chances, she went to investigate. What she found was a somewhat young coatl making an attempt at potion making. Caeswyn introduced herself, seeing as there really wasn't much reason to be wary (if worst came to worse, she was confident she could handle herself). The coatle introduced herself as Tarogol, and once the two had bonded over their shared love of hats, Tarogol invited her back to her clan to spend out the night. Caeswyn agreed.

The next morning, there was quite a bit of gossip about her going around. Who was she? Where had she come from? Where had she been? There were only two dragons who seemed to have nothing to say about her, a female Wildclaw and male Skydancer. Since they were the odd ones out, she approached them, and learnt their names were Bree and Kyros, and that both of their work fell in line with hers: criminal. Caeswyn could tell that while they remained civil, neither were happy with her presence, seeing her as competition, and not wanting any trouble, Caeswyn decided to make her stay short. After visiting Tarogol to bid her farewell, she had set off into the world once more.

Low on cash, Caeswyn found herself taking an assignment she would've otherwise declined. Her employer? A Centaur village. Yup. She'd sunk so low as to take jobs from the Beastclans. But whatever, dragon money is dragon money, and she couldn't describe herself as picky.

So there she was, doing her duty as an interrogator. Twice it went well for her, and less well for a fae and a tundra. Then, the third time, she found herself holed up with the most pathetic looking, scrawny boned excuse for a skydancer. Not only was he a weakling, he also didn't have any interesting information whatsoever. All he could talk about was how some measly spiral had decieved him, he was whinging about it like he wasn't aware that he was being interrogated and might possibly end up dead. Since the Centaur Beastclan found him to be so useless, they wanted Caeswyn to put him out of his misery.

She couldn't.

Somehow, somewhere between his patheticness and vulnerability, she'd taken a liking to him. Now, it was hardly something romantic, but she decided to run away with him. They actually had a really great time together - she saved him not only from the Centaurs, but also from a really angry bear. And in the end, they grew, not feelings, but affection for each other, and had a nest.

A nest neither of them really had the time for, so they just left the eggs in the wild - the hatchlings would have to become gen-1 dragons.

Caeswyn slowly flew towards a medium-sized Lightning clan. Many dragons here had a strange passion for stones and gems, and they spent ridiculous amounts of treasure or gems on building their collections of shining rocks and pebbles. It was a tiring journey that eventually led her here, but she new that she could shelter there until she was strong enough to continue to travel to many different lairs throughout the world.

The Skydancer was welcomed by a curious Wildclaw as she landed beside a large tree in the clan's main camp. A Fae led her into the caves where all the dragons that made their homes within the group slept and sometimes ate. Caeswyn was a little cautious upon entering the large cave, but as she was welcome she felt better.

A while later, Caeswyn was preparing to leave and begin travelling to another area and to find another clan to visit. A small hatchling handed her a small bundle of insects and plants so that she could eat. After saying goodbye and thank you, the Skydancer started to fly into the sky to find another place to go.

Caeswyn decided to head north with her spirit armor familiar by her side and her trusty hat on her head she set off. After reaching the border she stumbled into a deeply forested area so vast and thick with foliage it made it hard to see where she was stepping. The Skydancer tripped over a large rock and noticed a peculiar path of bright mushrooms along the ground, hoping it would lead her somewhere she followed it. Dodging branches left and right, a moss covered cave was found at the end of the trail. Caeswyn determined to find a hideout, entered cautiously. Almost as if it was magic the small room that she entered grew in size dramatically, opening up to a huge room full of all dragon kind resting on piles of moss and glowing mushrooms lit up the cave brilliantly. After introducing herself to the cave mother Caeswyn rested on an empty moss bed and chewed on the food bundle the hatchling had handed to her. She stayed for quite a few days enjoying learning about how these dragons had raised mushrooms to support themselves . However an itch for adventure began to grow and Caeswyn said goodbye to the friendly bunch hoping to find a new journey ahead of her.

Apparently, a new journey constituted running into someone she had met before - Kyros. She was a bit annoyed when he asked her for her help doing a job, but seeing as Bree wasn't around and he seemed particularly helpless doing this one on his own, she took pity on him and decided to help - so long as he gave her a fair cut in the prize. He agreed, and the two made their way through the Hewn, searching for a specific vendor that Kyros insisted had information on some hidden treasure. Caeswyn found that a bit childish, and would have rather just stolen from his shop and pawn it somewhere else, but she went along with Kyros' plan. She was to sit there silently as Kyros' muscle as he bartered, and if things didn't go according to plan, she was to threaten to kill the vendor. Thankfully, things did go according to plan, and they got the information they wanted.

Granted, the information was only a riddle that would only lead to the next piece in the puzzle.

It took such a miraculously long time to get to the end, Caeswyn wasn't sure how long she'd spent looking for the final clue in the treasure hunt. She and Kyros had spent Brightshine Jubilee together, admiring the lanterns that brought in the Sornieth New Year, and during one of the nights had nested together. Caeswyn made it clear she would not be sticking around to look after them - Kyros understood and admitted that he might raise them, but may leave them to be found by another caregiver.

They did eventually find the last piece of their puzzle, on the final night of Brightshine, and had opened what was essentially a warehouse in the Hewn. Inside, there were countless treasures, just as promised. Caeswyn took her cut and left quickly, leaving Kyros without a proper farewell.

Weary from traveling, Caeswyn stopped on the edge of the Carrion Canyon in hopes of getting some rest before continuing her journey in the morning. She was discovered by Raijin on his nightly walk to discharge the lightning buildup in his belly. Concerned for her health, he brought her back to his clan to be fed and watered. After receiving her portion of food and drink, Caeswyn disappeared in the night, not wanting to stay long with this clan of dragons.

Heading north towards Nature territory, Caeswyn encountered a herd of battle-happy centaur, forcing her to retreat into the depths of the Shrieking Wilds. Injured and lost, a scout from the Carya Haven, Ardeth, stumbled upon her and lead her back to their clan. She was treated for a nasty cut on her tail, which was promptly given an herbal salve and a wrap closest to the color of her scales.
Navy Tail Wrap
She wandered around the clan for a day or two, learning a little about the clans mission of healing before deciding that her skill set was best put to use elsewhere. She exchanged thanks and farewells with many of the clan members before disappearing through the trees.
