Biography
A sweet, brown-eyed creature once appeared in her life. From the first moment they met, a bond formed between the two strangers, stronger than the bond between any two humans could be. Patch was sincere and loving. So was his companion. Soon, they were brought together permanently. Many nights they spent curled up together on the hard wooden floor, not minding the cold. The warmth that they shared was enough to keep their worlds going. Sometimes a soulmate does not need to be of the same species.
Patch was a sickly creature. Born with unhealthy skin, areas of him would often get irritated and fell out. Even with bald patches of skin, he was so very handsome. He could never travel very far for this reason. He didn't mind though, since he had his companion. Loyal, always by his side, Patch was never alone. His inner livelihood and health more than compensated for his occasional lack in appearance. The love that he received from his companion negated any pain he felt from his sickness.
One day, a second creature entered their lives. More boisterous, ingenious, this second creature craved freedom. This craving for freedom rubbed off on Patch, who had always been so happy with his family and his home. Their first escape was prevented, and Patch went back to his companion. It was not that he was unhappy with her. He just wished to see the world, to travel the land and smell the different scents. Their second escape was successful, and off they went into the unknown. Little did Patch know, that he was never to see his soulmate again.
I miss you.
