Oleksander's reputation precedes him. His name is commonly whispered between rich merchants in busy marketplaces, the knowledge of his existence often being traded or bought much like gold or silver. To most, Oleksander remains an elusive dragon, so much so that it is nearly impossible to pinpoint his location at any given moment in time. To be fair, Oleksander does have his reasons. A dealer in antique and unusual artifacts, Oleksander has a sixth sense when it comes to powerful, genuine relics. It doesn't take him long to assess the value of an object, be it magical or not. Despite his blindness, Oleksander displays a level of confidence that has most business partners/clients quietly taking a step back. He's not exactly intimidating, but he knows what he's doing and he knows he's very good at it. It can also become strangely unsettling when Oleksander seems to know where everyone and everything is without thinking twice or having any sort of hesitation. Oleksander is known to be smart, cunning as a fox and especially greedy. It's wise to be careful around him, as he'll do his best to rob you of your treasure in one way or another, and you'll be happy to fall into his trap (at least until you fall to your senses and start cursing Oleksander's existence). This wandering Imperial seems oddly unencumbered for a merchant; he has no carriage and travels by himself. The only sign that he might carry some sort of merchandise with him is the satchel that he carries over his shoulder. It is a very small satchel and should barely have enough space to hold the barest necessities, but in spite of its less than generous size, it manages to hold every single of Oleksander's goods. (wip) Blind, but seems to know where everything and everyone is. Strangely unencumbered of merchandise for a merchant; has a satchel over his shoulder that seems to fit everything in it; it's where he keeps most of his goods. Collects rare relics and strange items, most magic in nature. Deals with anyone willing to do business and means no harm. Neutral character, out there for himself and no one else. Very greedy, but also very smart. |
