Biography
Ezreal
History Holder
Mate: Desideria "Organization is Key!” |
Early Life
A very shy Tundra male he was; Ezreal is one of very few words. He was born into a small clan home to both Tundras, Guardians, and Skydancers who held the Lightning Element. His parents were warriors who fought off any dragon that was of any other elemental type. It wasn't long after Ezreal's birth that the weather throughout the land started to turn for the worse. A terrifying storm had invaded the lands; wind stronger than they'd ever felt before, rains so powerful, it became impossible to fly and very difficult to walk through the forming mud, thunder so loud, the yowls of a dragon next to another could hardly be heard, and lightning so bright, it blinded those who caught sight of their strikes temporarily. Frightened, Ezreal's clanmates panicked and attempted to flee the area, but most dragons were too late. This storm was the most devastating natural event Sornieth had ever seen. Many dragons and other creatures were killed by the storm in various, tragic ways. Miraculously, Ezreal survived by digging into a hole left by another familiar. Within the hole, he was protected from the flying debris and strong winds. The storm had gone as fast as it came. By the time it had moved on, Ezreal's hole had filled up with a little water. Soaked, he climbed to the surface, horrified by the damage around him. His home was barely recognizable. Ezreal wandered for some time, hoping to find more of his clanmates. Perhaps they found a place to hide, as well? Traveling to the edge of his territory, he catches sight of a heap of familiar purple feathers. Mother? Ezreal cuddled close to his lifeless mother's body, bawling for what must've been hours. Never before had he felt so alone and helpless. The young Tundra didn't know what to do or where to go. He wanted to find his father, or even his older siblings, but was held back by the thought of finding them like he had found his mother: dead After many hours of mournful slumber, Ezreal lifted his head in a panic upon hearing another voice in the distance. At first, he thought he was hearing things, but the calls continued. "Hello? Is anyone there?" Ezreal was frightened. He didn't recognize the voice. A stranger was near. Would they hurt him? Kill him? Eat him for stew? Ezreal quickly ran behind a broken log as the sound of footsteps came closer. As the stranger called and wandered nearer to his location, Ezreal ducked lower behind the log. A terrified gasp was heard from the other side. Had the stranger discovered his mother's dead body? A silence followed. Ezreal sat praying the stranger wouldn't find him. Soon, the stranger whispered to themselves, "I'm... so sorry... no one... not even a Lightning dragon deserved this..." followed by light sobs. Ezreal felt saddened by the stranger's words. They didn't even know his mother... yet they felt sorry for her death. Readjusting his footing, Ezreal steps on a stick, which quickly breaks. Slowly, footsteps sounded nearer and nearer to Ezreal's position. "Hello? Is someone there? I won't hurt you..." the stranger calls. Shaking, Ezreal slowly reveals himself from behind the broken log. He was surprised to find the stranger was in fact another Tundra about the same age as himself. Her eyes shone as golden and bright as the sun. A... Light dragon? "Hello... I'm Desideria," she introduces herself. "What's your name?" He hesitated, frightened by the young female's forwardness. "Ezreal," he replied softly. "Were you caught in the storm too? I got separated from my family. I've been looking for them. They can't have gone far, do you want to come with me? We can find yours as well-" the female rambled on and on, speaking quickly, much quicker than Ezreal was prepared for. "B-but..." Ezreal stammered, tears beginning to fill his eyes once again. Desideria paused in her speaking. "But, what?" she asked softly, waiting patiently for his reply. Ezreal shrunk to the ground. "I'm a Lightning dragon." Desideria's head tilted to the side in confusion. "So? My parents are missing, and yours are missing too, right?" Ezreal glances to the side toward his mother. Desideria's eyes widened in realization. "I'm... so sorry..." she says softly. She then looks to Ezreal, "I don't think we should be on our own. Our old clans may have fought each other a lot, but we're the only ones here now. We need to stick together and find help." Ezreal felt a sad pain in his heart as his clanmates' voices repeated in his head: you can't trust a Light dragon! You can't trust their kind! They're too different from us! "But, I'm a Lightning dragon... why would you want to help me?" he sobbed. Desideria stood silently for a few moments. "No... that doesn't matter. We are both dragons, Ezreal. Sticking together and helping each other is the only way we're going to survive!" Desideria extends her paw toward Ezreal, who looks up into Desideria's eyes. "Will you come with me?" Ezreal stares into the strong Light dragon's pupils. She was right. Element isn't something that should divide us. We are stronger together than we are apart. Ezreal straightens up and takes Desideria's paw. "Together," he says. Smiling, the two of them wandered away from their destroyed homeland, unknowingly just a few weeks away from running into Wind for the first time. |
Clan Growth
As an adult, Ezreal has a very important job within his clan. He holds the entire history of his Multi-Elemental clan in a large book he carries, handwriting every birth, death, battle, and so on. Ezreal holds the knowledge and the long history, from the very beginning to now, of his clan within his paws. His Familiar, a Voltspire Intruder, is a lot like him; very shy and keeps to himself. They are very good friends and relate a lot to each other. (Rae's note: I'm gonna add more here eventually hhh) |
