Hello there dear! The name's Lanuria, but that's a bit hard for the hatchlings to pronounce, so I usually just go by Lorna. I serve as the director of communications in Chimesong alongside Cobi and occasionally Raina, my partners who deliver news and messages between our clan, and all of Sornith! My mate is Cado, the director of fine arts in our clan, and we proudly have quite a few hatchlings all over Sornith, and humbly serving our deities. In the summer of the third year of the clan, Lanuria had brought one of her and her mate Cado's clutches to the market to be sent throughout Sornith. As motherly as she is, she found herself plunging into a deep sadness upon parting from her children. Usually, one of her clanmates would deliver her children for her so she would be spared from the pain of parting from them.
There, at the edge of the market sat two small pearlcatcher hatclings inside a whicker basket of bamboo leaves. In belief that raising children of her own to stay within the clan, she handed the snapper watching over the twins a small pouch of treasure and delivered them back to the humble home of Chimesong. Before the clan knew it, they had fallen into a deep shade.
