B I O G R A P H Y

His past is simple, he came from a different tribe and was found alone like most of the others hatchlings that helped start the tribe. Lycus had refused to speak a word to anyone when he first arrived; however, when he started scouting lesson with Oddball he slowly started to open up to her. He spoke of how he felt left out from the other hatchlings as he was the only hatchling from the Shadow flight, and that he was treated different because of it. Oddball reassured him that there would be more dragons from the Shadow flight in due time, and that his birth flight did not determine his worth. Oddball continued on to say that he was special in his own way and to embrace his true self instead of fighting it. Lycus had went quiet for a bit after Oddball had spoken, and mulled it over in his brain about what she said before nodding and agreeing with her. After that lesson Lycus slowly became more confident in himself as the weeks went by.

Though when Lycus reached into his teen years he started being a troublemaker. He would disappear randomly during the night and not return to the tribe for days at a time. When he returned he would take large rations without permission, take random materials from storage, and never slept in his cave for too long. The behavior had made Oddball suspicious of what Lycus was getting up to while he was gone, and one day she confronted him after he returned barely looking like a functioning dragon. He had been held prisoner for a week by a group of bandit dragons as he had tried multiple times to steal their treasure. Oddball gave him multiple warnings about leaving without telling anyone after the incident, but Lycus continued with his ways.

But then Alita had joined the tribe. She became a counselor for many and helped keep the tribe peaceful during harsh times. Lycus hadn't shown himself to her until he was forced by Oddball to go to Alita's birthday party. Lycus wasn't too happy about it and spent most of the time in the corner and sipping on punch. Alita had walked up to him causing him to spill his punch when he saw her up close. She helped him clean up and introduced herself as the peacekeeper of their tribe continuing into a ramble about the tribe. Lycus had gave a shy smile and let her go on about the tribe until it was past midnight and dragons were cleaning up. Alita invited Lycus to come visit her office in the morning and wished him a good night.

Lycus had built up some courage and showed up to her office as she asked. Alita welcomed him with tea and asked to get to know him more, Lycus surprisingly opened up to her and told her everything. Atferwards Lycus felt like a weight had been lifted from him and constantly visits her. He also opened up to the tribe and made some friends other than Oddball and Alita.

____When dragons ask how Lycus met his familiar he gets called a liar most of the time even though it is the truth. Lycus had simply awoken after a fight to see the floating orbs hovering near his face, and when he sat up and held out his claws the orbs moved to hover over them. After that the orbs seemed to follow Lycus' every move, and it ended up following him back to the tribe to pester him everyday. Of course the best part of the story that Lycus leaves out is the high pitched scream he had made when he first saw the orbs in his face.
