When Eris hatched, her mother knew she would be a brute: easily twice the size of her sister and stronger than her brother, she distinguished herself as the alpha among her siblings. It’s little surprise then that she would be the first of her clutch to hear the call of her Search, pulled in the direction of the Shattered Plain and a fledgling clan setting its foundation in the cracked earth. Oozing and infested with beetles and parasites, it’s little surprise that they didn’t immediately take to her skulking around the edges of their territory.

It’s only when she forced her way to Brio’s side that they conceded she could stay. While the coatl isn’t quite sure what to do with a towering behemoth who has decided he is the center of her life, she seems most unwilling to leave. At least his singing seems to soothe her somewhat.

While most of her dealings are with her Charge, she has garnered quite a reputation for being a go-to dragon when things need to be done, regardless of how dirty the job may be. Her word is law and, should she happen to agree to uphold a bargain or perform a duty for her clan, she will go to great (and occasionally unthinkable) lengths to hold her end of the deal. Some of her actions could be considered reprehensible, though she exhibits something of a skewed moral compass and does not always understand the impact her actions have. All she cares about is remaining loyal and upholding her reputation at any and all costs.
