Basic Info-

Reathe is the first dragon in the clan to be boasting the new impressive genes of poison and toxin. Since the genes were used as an impressive display in hopes of thwarting off predators, Faux, the clan healer, encountered the boy while he was out foraging for scrap metals. She had questioned if he had a certain condition- whether it was infectious or not. He had instructed her of the genes true purpose and meaning and was begged to be brought in for further evaluation.

Rigil, the clan’s wisest, questioned the new member thoroughly about his aspirations and his desire- and reasons for being in plague territory. Reathe was very gracious and patient, saying that he had come from a Lightning clan of the sky that ran off of glorious metals and constructed the most beautiful of weapons and armor that could ever be seen. He had traveled off of his boundaries in search of new territory and grew lost, only to find a strange pearlcatcher with a mask for a face slipping quickly out of his spy glass view into a cauldron of plague brew. He had been on the search for it ever since out of concern for it’s well being- it had looked as if it were going to die shortly.

Hasil allowed him to stay on account of his skills with metal work and also a great need for more in the clan with this impressive gene that could be nothing less of a mark from the plague mother herself! When she had heard of his tale with the pearl catcher, she knew precisely what he had encountered.

This pearlcatcher was none other than Peddler. The poor creature had been fascinated by the mutation this boy was sporting and had followed him around for weeks with an infatuation for his bright colors. The duo soon were introduced to one another formally. Peddler being fearful that her disease would scare off the new companion, only for him to say that he did not think of her any less.

Reathe has dedicated months of time into studying a potential cure for his new mate’s disease, to no avail. His determined spirit and motivated will shall not allow him to give up on his studying.
