Royal Bodyguard

Asteria is the sworn bodyguard of Prince Ephemeris, wracked with guilt over her failure to prevent the assassination attempt that reduced him to his current state. She has traveled with him to the Etherium, determined not to fail him again. She is a serious, duty-bound dragon who is rarely seen without her armor, rumored to be in love with the prince, though he is incapable of returning her affection. The volatile arcane energies in the region have tinged her feathers with a faint, unearthly luminescence.
