Cursed by Shadow dragons from before he was even born, Nasus was never meant to survive. He was fragile and sickly, and with every moment of his life spent in the Wasteland he grew weaker. Death loomed on the horizon, and the little hatchling would've almsot welcomed it-- if he understood anything that was happening to him.

But, he was found by a passing mage, who was intrigued by the power of the curse. Not something he could break-- the magic was too powerful -- but it piqued his curiosity enough to leave the Wasteland with Nasus, watching curiously when the hatchling's health returned ten-fold.

Experiments began, testing diferrent bonds, charms, and spells. The mage would turn him back out into the Wasteland and wait for his health to fail again, fragile in an instant. But eventually, the mage discovered a compromise.

The curse's grip was restrained, declaring it's muffled presence in an emblem on his forehead, Nasus was able to survive in the Wasteland, curse intact and with no idea how long the binding of the curse would last.
