Ever since the fluffy clan leader Dieu had brought him in, the two had grown to be very close. ______ was once just a lowly mirror dropped off by a clan who had found his egg, cared for him until he hatched, and sent him off. Just a small, baby mirror. It was then that he wandered into Dieu's clan comfortably strewn about the Mirrorlight Promenade and was brought in as a member.
It was Lume who had found _______, a lowly, small Plague dragon riddled with clashing pink, green and blue hues, and brought him to the leader.

He remembered the gentle smile and the warm, cozy hug that awaited him. Tundras give such nice hugs, and Dieu was no different. The tundra loved the colors covering ______'s hide, which made him feel a little bit better about how silly they were... It warmed his heart.

Dieu immediately took him under his wing-- quite literally-- and led him about the clan right then and there. He soon learned how deeply compassionate and caring this Tundra was; he would never turn away a lost dragon no matter the circumstance.

That night as _______ slept, he was overcome with a glorious dream of the fair Lightweaver. She gathered him lovingly into Her arms and gently molded him into a dragon of Her own design: a Pearlcatcher. Her eyes then gazed across his new form approvingly, and She hovered a finger over ________'s ruby eye and moved Her finger downward; his hide turned a beautiful Carmine shade, the color of Plague. She then leaned forward and graced his forehead with a soft kiss, and he woke.

_____ found the most beautifully shaped pearl resting beside his head once he had awoken. He reached out to pull it close with a carmine claw and curl himself around it before falling back into a blissful slumber.

Dieu was so happy for him.

_______'s life in the clan was normal after that day. He was an honorary member, and Dieu made sure to spend an ample amount of time with him. ______ had a tendency to sleep in, and so Dieu would always come to kindly nudge him awake when the time came to rise...

There then came a time when the nudging was not so gentle...
It was urgent.
Dieu was standing over ______ in his stone burrow, nudging him desperately and calling out his name: "______, _______, wake up!" the Tundra cried, his breathing uncharacteristically rapid. He was always so calm...
______ finally came to, opening up his deep red gaze to a frantic-looking Dieu. He shot up. claws clacking on the stone as he stood up, now taller than the dragon who had raised him.

"Wh--?" ____ could not get out a single word before Dieu rushed behind him, pushing him from behind towards the exit of the burrow. "_____, you must leave. Now. It is too dangerous to stay here." he begged, voice seemingly weak. "We are under attack, dear, I do not want you hurt. P-please, you must fly away from here."
_____ was frantic. Wh-what!? Under attack, b-but why? The beast clans seemed to be under control. and the clan was never battling with any other... Why would they be under attack..?
Dieu simply shook his small head. "There is no time to explain, please." the Tundra begged. "I-I will come for you once it is safe." He took a split moment to slide the Daisy Corsage from his wrist and tie it around ______'s tail before rushing from the burrow.

______ quickly rushed out to follow the dragon, but he was no where to be seen. There were dark, drooling dragons crawling up over the Grand Staircase and flying in the air overhead. He heard a pained, blood-curdling scream from over to the right of him. H-he wished he did not look. H-he wished he could completely erase the vision of that coatl's neck falling limp between a pair of bloody, yellow teeth.

H-he ran for his life. He sprinted back towards the cliff overlooking the ocean and launched himself off of the edge, unsheathing his wings and catching flight on the wind. H-he didn't look back; he knew well enough not to. He followed Dieu's instruction and got away as quickly as he could, flying to the only other place that felt familiar to him; The Scarred Wasteland.

P-perhaps he could find a clan there to remain with until all was safe...

(( Obviously I'm not going to take him back from you, so don't take the whole "I'll send for you after I know it's safe" and "remain with until all was safe" as if he's coming back to my clan. He's yours! :0 There are many reasons as to why Dieu wouldn't be able to find him again.))
