DRENNIS The Wanderer Mate of Shenan Familiar  DESCRIPTION Drennis is a somber quiet dragon, that speaks carefully, like he isn't entirely certain of the words. While he can be sociable, he tends to stay on the outskirts of a conversation, unless being spoken to directly. Still, if he is prompted just right, or asked something in the right way, he can tell stories of strange places, that will leave the entire clan asking for more. He tends to be far more reserved than Sayre and Devin, and far calmer than Aven and even Kared. It takes a great deal to anger him. He is a wanderer at heart, which is why nearly all of the trips the small group makes are following after one of Drennis' ideas, which are never quite what anyone expects them to be. While he is generally more of a fighter type, like Kared and Aven, he also has magic, like Shenan, Sayre and Ash, although he rarely will use it. Gahru persistently demands demonstrations and questions it, for it is different than usual magic. He is far more restless than Aven, but also a bit more reckless. He seems to be oddly lucky. Gahru in particular, has made it almost his mission to figure out exactly where Drennis is from, as he consistently states he cannot explain it properly. |

Drennis is a dragon that likes his secrets. He knows where he is, and he knows where he is from, however he does not exactly remember how he arrived in the Plateau. He has a mischievous little cat, an old battered scroll case with a few bits of mostly ruined parchment inside, and odd smoky orb, and questions. He had been on a journey, with no exact destination, because he loves to travel. It is his greatest pleasure.
Besides, his mate Shenan, and Gahru, who is always with one of them, Drennis' most devoted companion is the small kitten that is never far from him. Lyel, who was most often seen curled up in Drennis' cloak, or on the top of his head, didn't seem to like anyone else, even his familiar Misha. While this is strange behavior for a cat, as most are indifferent, Drennis insists he has always been like this. It was Ash that gave him his title, a suggestion that was immediately seconded by Gahru, who actively refuses to use actual names. Kared and Aven, flat out refuse to spar with him, while Sayre, regularly hugs him. His biggest questions were, how did he end up in the Twisting Crescendo, and how long had he been there? Now though, after meeting Shenan, Gahru, and the rest, his real question is, does he actually want to go back home? |
