Hayashi is quite the interesting individual. One minute he's quiet and focused on caring for his plants and then the next minute, he's eccentric and talking your ear off about something random... yet still relevant to plants. He'll even ask your questions about plants that you wouldn't know how to answer.

Hs love for plants is unreal. Heck, he even looks like a plant himself with all that jungle and forest colors. He calls himself "The Dragon Tree". Hayashi's catchphrase is literally the first syllable of his name repeated three times, and that's how he greets people. He wears all these random goofy sets of apparel apparently to "protect himself from pesticides that he uses on plants". Okay but are steampunk goggles really necessary??

Squakaw is legit the sound it makes, his familiar. And all it does is squakaw at growing plants so that Hayashi can tend to it cuz for some reason Squakaw has an ultra sensitive sense for when a plant hasn't been cared for. Huh. Strange.

Ameline's his beloved and is pretty much never around him actually. She's always off doing her own thing but once in a while, they go and chill together in Hayashi's garden. God knows what else they do together since no one ever sees it.
