Biography

An Immigrant from Clan Silverwood, Ward has made his home within the underground maze that is the Clan of Tales' lair. He set out from the lush jungles of the Viridian Labyrinth to set out on a journey to prove to himself that he can be a strong warrior and protector like his parents and siblings.

On his journey to seek a place that can test his will to fight and live, he's come across the Ventusian territory where he met Azurite. The deeply maternal dragon has adopted him much like how she adopts all dragons as her children. While this came across as a little odd, Ward didn't complain and takes enjoyment out of the attention she gives him. However, while the Plateau is nice it still wasn't the land he wanted to hunker down in to test his mettle and continued on his journey. Eventually he sighted a sickening haze loom over the horizon and he decided to walk straight to it.

Along the way, he always met a lone Fae who introduced herself as Shamira before planting a seat right on his antler. She said that she was "going to guard his one horn with her life" but really he knew that she must have been tired and just wanted to take a break. The two began to chat about their lives thus far (which really wasn't eventful for either of them), and about their goals. He learned that she really just wanted a clan to call her own. A simple but surprisingly difficult experience for the orphaned Fae. She and Ward, now taking a liking to one another, agree to travel together to hopefully meet both their goals.

Ward does appreciate Shamira's chattiness since it makes up for his own quiet nature.
