FLORENCE - HEAD MEDIC

The shade-touched, mute head medic of Blodeuwedd, eternally cursed by the mask she wears - all who see her without it are doomed to perish. She tends to not let emotions seep through the surface, and tries to keep a calm, collected composure. Despite this, she is very motherly and kind, pushing aside her suffering to care for those of the only clan that accepted her.

As a hatchling, three of her younger siblings - Pennry, Haruto, and Crovil - fell horribly ill, and with the clan's medics struggling to save her life, Florence took it into her own hands to save them. Crossing into shadow territory, Florence was confronted by a sentient black mist, which offered to give her all knowledge of the medical world at an unspecified cost. Desperate, Florence agreed, and while she was given all knowledge in the form of a wooden mask, the mist took her voice and left her face and throat permanently scarred. While suffering, Florence used her new knowledge to attempt to save her siblings - however, they perished upon looking at her scarred face. Unable to forgive herself, Florence fled, and was later found by a dragon named Thor, who took her to her current clan.

She views her apprentice Morgra as a daughter, and cares for her deeply, as she reminds her of her deceased family. She saved her after discovering her half-dead in the rivers of the Gladeveins.
