Finch
Disciplinary Captain | Strike Team Head

Finch is like a dog eating his own feces. He doesn't realize he's doing anything wrong.

In more serious terms, it's hard to overlook the irony of Finch being appointed the captain of the clan's disciplinary force when he's likely the most poorly behaved dragon in the Sunbeam Ruins (and his two compatriots aren't far behind in the rankings). But he gets the job done, and if there's anything Whetsella appreciates, it's results. That appreciation - coupled with her bone-deep trust in his lightborn background - is enough for her to take the rest of his antics in stride, though the rest of the clan isn't similarly convinced. There's underlying concern that he may like his job a little too much, and many are made uneasy by the cavalier approach and intense enthusiasm he has towards discipline and enforcement within the clan. Again, though, it all loops back to results, and everyone has been particularly well-behaved ever since Finch and his grinning entourage rolled into the ranks.

While inside of the clan Finch is the head of the disciplinary force, outside of it he leads the strike team - the roving version of his three-man setup, focused on isolating and eliminating outside threats to the clan. He likes strike team missions a little better than disciplinary tasks - when it's an outsider, he can play as rough as he wants.

Relationships

Shrike

If Shrike's relationship to Finch had to be summed up in one word, it would be "enabler." Whenever Finch needs backup, whether in a fight or in a petty argument, he always turns to Shrike, because ten times out of ten the energetic mirror will jump right to his defense (whether or not he understands the situation at hand.)

Crow

There's a common misconception that Finch must be the only one who really understands what's going on in Crow's head. In reality, Finch is just as much in the dark as everyone else, and truth be told, it doesn't bother him at all. Crow kills whatever Finch tells him to and sometimes even chuckles a little at his jokes, and that's all you really need in a friend, right?

Hex

Nobody has any idea what's going on between these two. That includes Finch. It would probably best if everyone involved (that still includes Finch) took a step back and just forgot that anything ever happened.
