Lionheart


One of the few dragons Ajra openly declares her pride and join, Lionheart is one of two orphaned Earth eggs that the cult leader found and managed to hatch. Many more lay in her private cave, regularly incubated, but never managing to hatch. Lionheart, and her adopted brother Chenille, however, did, and now they are treated like royalty by the clan matriarch. The two occupy their own cave, which is lavished with expensive and exotic items. They are given the best food, the best clothing, the best of everything, and it most certainly has gone to their heads. For her part, Lionheart acts for all the world like a spoiled princess, holding herself to high standards and bossing around the miners of the Rockbreaker Cult. Her adopted mother lets her do whatever she wants in an attempt to keep her loyal, but her adopted father Grax is the only person who can make her seem small or entitled. He never says as much, simply looks at her with sadness and disappointment in his eyes, and she feels deep shame -- which she will then try to counter-act by asking her mother for some new shiny bauble.
