"All hatchlings must be taught their manners."

______ Since Lilly was born, she was always the shy type. Her parents were often more fond of her than her siblings due to her bright colours, and she loved the attention. She had a heart of gold, and she never tolerated violence. As Lilly began to grow up, she realised she would never fit in with her home clan. She didn't want to live life just sitting around a volcano! She wanted to see new dragons and new lands. With many tearful goodbyes, she set off on her journey to find her true self.

______ The road was long and hard. Her parents had taught her that all dragons were nice and ready to help. Lilly quickly found out that wasn't true, when a sneaky Mirror robbed her satchel, full of food and belongings! Heartbroken, lost and lonely, the only thing Lilly wanted to do was to bask next to a pool of lava. As she was travelling in the forest, she came across a tiny Coatl hatchling, atop an altar of stone. He was cold, and was close to death. Lilly remembered her childhood, and was horrified to learn that this was what some Coatl societies did to their unwanted hatchlings. How could one be so cruel, leaving a tiny, defenseless hatchling to die, just because of the colour of their plumage?! Lilly felt guilty for hogging up all the attention and love from her parents as a hatchling, while her siblings got nothing. Fearing for the hatchling's life, Lilly kept him warm, finding food for the both of them. Lilly became very attached to the hatchling, naming him Gulliver. Gulliver and Lilly became inseprable. They settled down with the bandits, the glades becoming their new home. Lilly raised every batch of new hatclings, smothering them with her care and love. She finally found her new calling, and her new home.
