RYUIRE
he/him| alchemist | age

Ryuire is an eccentric alchemist that spends most of his time within the clan's research centers. He's friendly, although a little bit weird to most dragons. He can spend days on end testing and perfecting whatever concoction he's working on.

He has a long and storied history- being orphaned as a hatchling, found by a water clan, and raised with them. This is where he first began experimenting with various interesting substances, with Seriths Poison being particularly alluring. The clan accepted and loved him, but it wouldn't last. The clan collapsed with the Tidelord's disappearance. Ryuire was left alone again, left to wander.

He came across the Dry River Clan and decided to join.

an alchemist. formerly the head researcher of his clan, but when the storm wreaked the water flight, his clan was wholly devastated by it. their home was destroyed. some of the clan members joined that big floaty city while others broke apart- ryuire was one of the ones who broke off. he left with very little, and wandered for quite a while.
eventually he finds dry river clan and is like 'poggers' and rolls up and joins and acts as a sort of mentor figure to lizbeth and the chaos trine

Ryuire is... eccentric. There's no other word for it. Ever since he was rescued off the shores of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, he hasn't been quite right in the head. Maybe being abandoned and left for dead did that to dragons, or maybe that was why he had been abandoned in the first place. Whatever the reason was, his rescuer had carried the poor little half-starved hatchling back to the lair, where the clan's caretaker nursed him back to good health.

Instead of social interaction, the Fae's always preferred to spend his time alone, tinkering with odd mixtures and noxious brews. Instead of herb and plant-based brews, Ryuire deals with decidedly more unpalatable materials. Serthis poison for one. Needless to say, he hit it off with Baldwin right off the bat. He's undeniably good with chemistry, though - glues, explosives, acids that could eat away at just about any mineral that can't be excavated - you name it, he's got it. The clan hasn't allowed him or any of his quick-fix spray-on bandages near any of their patients yet, though.

For all that happened to him, Ryuire's never hurt anyone, and for that the clan is willing to overlook his eccentricities and accept him as one of their own. After all, they know who to yell at when the lair gets flooded with obscure smoke of myriad colors.

After a few lab experiments gone wrong, Ryuire's colors have changed entirely. He's still exactly the same dragon inside, and he feels better than ever.
