Phoinix

EARLY LIFE} Phoinix was born in a small lair in the Lightning Farm, one of many children by his parents. Both are still living. He was the first ridgeback to be taken in by Andromeda, who liked him for his fiery temperament and strength of will.

CAREER} Almost immediately upon reaching adulthood, he wanted to fight. Andromeda sensed a great deal of pent-up energy within that needed to be unleashed, so she granted his request to join the clan's first team of warriors, which became known as the Mage Triumvirate (Aphrodite and Nyx being the other members). He honed his electricity magic with fervor and became captain of the team. He helped to train many aspiring warriors, including Andromeda herself, until he retired from the battlefield to take up a more political role, leading the clan at his matriarch's side.

PERSONALITY} A fierce fighter by nature, he is prone to leap into action without hesitation. While this made him an adept commander, as a diplomat, his easily-ignighted temper often gets him into disagreements with the other Founders. He secretly harbors a deep resentment that his magic and fighting skills never reached their full potential before retirement. He still wears his armor as a tribute to his warrior past.

MATES} Nyx (deceased), a pearlcatcher who acted as healer of the Mage Triumvirate; Harpy (deceased), a ridgeback who shared his combative nature but could never contend with him in battle; Aurelia, a pearlcatcher whom he unexpectedly fell for, despite her being the daughter of two of his clanmates.
