Despina was the goddess of mysteries and many cults worshipped under the title Despina, "the mistress". As one of the goddesses of the Eleusinian mysteries, Her real name could not be revealed to anyone except those initiated to her mysteries.

Despina had been lost and feeling alone when she arrived in the Piscium clan. Her insecurities as to what she would provide the clan engulfed her and threw her into a darkness of depression. She felt useless and afraid that she would never find a proper future where she did not feel this despair of helplessness. Upon meeting the Clan's previous Mana Crystal Guardian; Karaliene, Despina immediately felt a wonderful connection arise within the them.

While Karaliene had a duty to fulfil, she had to leave Despina alone to ponder with her own thoughts. Despina's search for her Charge was incredibly short and upon receiving a parcel delivered from Karaliene herself, she had known immediately that this item was what she'd protect for the remainder of her life: a Ruby Ring given to her and enchanted with powerful magick. The symbol of their connectedness, the symbol of a promise, and the symbol that wrapped their destinies together.

With this new-found happiness, the pressure of the future lightened and Despina was able to focus and discovered her calling; she would become a skilled enchantress of items and trinkets, greatly aiding the clan with their highly magick lifestyles. And later she even found herself in apprenticeship with the Guardian of the Mega Crystal, as well as with one of the oldest dragons in the Piscium Clan, Karaliene herself. There Despina learned a great deal in magicks and charms and had grown immensely.

Despina was later joined by a young and still learning Magus, Arcturus who was obviously greater skilled in magicks and was even accepted by the Mega Crystal itself to use its powers. From there, Despina lost faith in herself again but still continues to practice what she believed was her calling, though still showing less potential compared to Arcturus.

Upon the day the Mega Crystal became corrupted and sick with Shade poisons from an unknown source, Despina watched helplessly as her teacher Karaliene sacrificed herself in order to purify the Mega Crystal and stop its destruction of the Piscium Clan. Through with a newly-purified Mega Crystal, it has accepted her now as well, proving herself powerful and just as Arcturus was. Despina was appointed a Guardian of the Mega Crystal while Arcturus also was appointed, yet still depending on her to watch over it while he traveled.
Despina's Charge is her Ruby Ring.
