Fallsetto caused quite a stur among his newfound clan when he was introduced as the Queen's new life mate. This rapid and unforeshadowed coupling, combined with the mystery of this newcomer, gave raise to mass speculation as to his potential powerhungry motives- traditionally, Falsetto's four predecessors coupled with the queen (including shockingly the Queen's own step-son) have all been granted a position almost equal in power to her own.
Falsetto, however, assuaged these fears with his coronation. He was crowned Husband-King, a politically meaningless position that afforded him a luxurious life and not much else. His own ambitions lay only in maintaining the Queen's interest in him, so she will allow him to keep collecting the accouterments of beauty he is now accustomed to.
