Eurydice: The Underworld Spirit

Malevolent Spirit Bloated Maggot Picked-Over Bones
Most don't believe this to be a dragon.

There's not much to suggest that it is.

It doesn't speak - occasionally, there are guttural moans and low growling. Some report to have heard screams, echoing as if from a distance.

Twisting plants and noxious fungi grow from its bones, leaving slime and black muck dripping through its feathers. Beneath its cowl are a pair of sunken, empty eyes, and bandages that conceal wounds -- or something else.

Whatever this is, it's not alive. It's certainly not a coatl.

Now? All it seems to be is a host for fungi, bugs and plantlife, feeding off its decaying body as the underworld spirit controlling this gloomy puppet carries on pretending to be a dragon.
