Clan Plague Rep
Io was exiled from her previous home, deep within the Ashfall Waste; although she was born in the Scarred Wasteland, she soon grew bored and migrated to warmer climates. Her arrival in the Ashfall Waste was initially greeted with enthusiasm and kindness, but jealousy and friction between herself and other clanmates led to her eventual exile. She was not sent out alone, though. Seen as a threat by the clan-mother, and not trusted to stay away, Io was assigned as a Guardian's charge; Argus.
Io, at first, resented Argus' watchful eye. She had no intention of returning to the clan that had so cruelly rejected her, and she certainly didn't need babysitting. She decided to return to her birthplace once more, and set off for the Scarred Wasteland. Since she couldn't pass through her old clan's territory, Io and Argus made their way through the Shifting Expanse and Sunbeam Ruins (a most unpleasant place, Io thought) with little incident, thanks to Argus - but once they came to pass through the Tangled Wood, the wisps and 'guides' soon made sure that the pair were well and truly lost. Even Argus could no longer help his charge find her way home.
That is, until Io stumbled upon Cosmos' clan. Their thicket, although surrounded by thorns, was safe from the roaming beastclans, and Cosmos extended an invitation to both Io and Argus. As long as they could pull their weight in foraging and fighting, they were welcome to stay as long as they needed. Io no longer felt the pull to return to the Scarred Wasteland; the Tangled Wood was her home now.
