The Survivor
"What doesn't kill me I can track down."
The Blossoming
Born with one other egg in a nest in the
dense canopy of protective foliage, one
would expect young Hallow's life to be
full of joy. Her mother doted over her,
and while her father was kind, even so
young he was training her to be a fighter,
a survivor.
She and her sister would often playfight
at the edge of the glade, though Hallow
of course had to be careful of her gentle
Fae sister.
The two would hunt and gather with the
older dragons, and Hallow looked forward
to the day she could join her father Pluto
in providing for the clan.
Then everything changed with the Centaurs
attacked. 		and The Burning
Though her clan was saved by a mysterious
plague dragon, they came too late to save
her tiny fae sibling. And his saving the clan
did not come without cost- his previous
flight bred mistrust throughout the group,
and she was torn by her mother's mating of
the plague dragon, and her father's hatred.
Though she wanted to protect her family,
she was torn between the two guard posts
started between her stepfather, and her
real father.
She is leaning towards the stepfather,
but only time will tell if her loyalties
are stronger to the one who saved her,
or the one who raised her.
