BIOGRAPHY

September had seen many moons on the good world of Sorinth. He had traveled from territory to territory, looking for a home to call his own. For a while, he was happy in Dragonhome, but his wanderlust was strong, stronger than the pull he felt to the Earthshaker, stronger than the affection for his lover, a beautiful Pearlcatcher named Rocher. He was an old dragon now, but he was not ready yet to return to the lands of the deities from whence he had come as an egg so long ago.

It was when his daughter decided to leave her home to seek her own adventure, following the whims of a mischievous Mirror hatchling, that he felt the pull of the winds of Sorinth.

As a father, he felt an affection for his youngest daughter, the last of his most recent batch of hatchlings (he had been a father many times, a bachelor many more, and had seen many children off to serve the deities, or leave for distant clans). She was different, the last of her brood, and she was far more spirited than the other Earth hatchlings he had yet to see. Where her siblings were steady and stable, quiet and hardworking, she was adventurous, and she, like her father, looked beyond the realms of Dragonhome.

September decided to follow her, to protect her from the world that she was too young yet to fully understand. She eagerly accepted his company, and he met the young Mirror, Briasbane, who had caught her eye.

The Mirror was on his way to a new clan, following the wiser trail of an older Mirror, and, after many moons where September watched the two hatchlings as they ran and played on the dancing winds, feeling free, they reached the territory of the Gladekeeper, a place where September had never spent more than a few nights in.

The weary travelers were greeted warmly by the clan's progenitors, Periphae and Beguiler, and introduced to their daughter, Hyephae, the heir to Periphae's position as clan matriarch. September soon found solace in a giant library the likes of which he had not seen since his time in the land of Light. Maripose and Chocola, dragons with old souls, welcomed him, and his wisdom and knowledge made him a valuable scholar.

With the permission of the dryad, Twig, September began to host classrooms of hatchlings, teaching them the ways of the world of Sorinth. He encouraged the ones filled with wanderlust, and comforted the intimidated, who were scared to leave their homes.

For the first time in a long time, September felt at peace. And, yes, he happily watched his young daughter grow, watching as she learned what the world could be.

Personality
September is confident and wise. Despite the fact that he is a bit of a flirt, not willing to settle with one mate, he loves his youngest daughter, Leweti, and has come to enjoy teaching the hatchlings.
