"NO! Anything would have been better than being.. that!" He spat at the blind Imperial. "You must have mistaken me for another dragon, I do not wish to be a Healer!"
Clouded, violet eyes stared patiently back at him. "I know what it is what I saw, young fae." A hard edge crept into her voice. "Do you dare defy the will of the Tidelord?"
Dragons had peered out of their dens when they heard Soot speak, for the ashen dragon did not come out of her tree home without reason.
