No one quite knows where Madena came from, for every time she is asked to share her story she tells it differently. However, her true talent comes in listening. As new dragons come to the kingdom, she is one of the first to greet them, asking them to share with her their story. She is an even better listener than she is a storyteller, and though she doesn't write any of what she hears down, she can remember a dragon's entire life story perfectly. The archivists have been desperate to transcribe her vast knowledge, for her stories could tell the entire history of Silverwick, but the only one who hears every story is Glory, the Storyteller. The two work as one team, collecting and sharing spoken word as often as they are able.
Though she knows every dragon in the kingdom, and is amiable towards all, when she is not telling or listening to a story, Madena is reserved and prefers solitude. No one really knows much about her, personally.
