Biography
A Young Pearlcatcher's Tale
Though she may appear silly, or unfashionable, Tirena is not one to be underestimated. Born of the clan's shaman Juveer and the clan's Tinkerer Tamur, This pearlcatcher is rather sharp. not so much as spiritually as her father, nor as mechanically as her mother, but Financially, she has come to shine.
Tirena was raised while the clan was really starting to blossom, and got to see many dragons come to the clan and leave to serve the Earthshaker for his higher motives. Though as she observed the many dragons pass through, she began to pick up many little games with herself, counting many items and objects ranging from the dragons in the lair to the items brought back from gathering expeditions.
Soon the young pearlcatcher was taking detailed records of items brought back and kept an accurate log of the clan's possessions. Though she had not been officially declared as the clan's hoard keeper, Tirena had kept up with the responsibility for a while. Soon enough, Gul had noticed the young dragon so skilled with keeping the items organized and took the time to talk with her. Discussing her passionate record keeping and the depth in which she cataloged the various items that were brought in daily. Tirena was then declared by Gul himself to be the clan's hoard keeper, which was met with no objections from anyone.
As the weeks passed, her passion did not wane in the least, and she kept vigilant with her responsibilities. occasionally picking up an item for herself as they were brought in, the clan soon learned of her eye for shiny items. She adorns herself quite happily with the jewelry brought back and knows that it may not look well put together. Perhaps even unsightly. The young pearlcatcher does not care, she does what she enjoys the most, helping her clan grow in a stable manner.
As she grew familiar with all of her clan mates, she took special note of when new dragons joined the clan. It became close to a small celebration for her, gifting a special item from the hoard to each which joined into the clan. A token of good will from the keeper herself.
Her focus never veered from keeping a keen eye on the hoard, sorting and counting items that came in, left, was dedicated for the food supply. Tirena even accepted some of the clan's help with keeping the growing hoard organized. Though as focused as she was, she could have never anticipated what was about to happen.
The next week a new dragon had come to the guild, a Guardian. In her usual greeting and conversation with the newcomer, she learned his name was ZurKahm. A dragon from another clan in the earth flight, left to search for his charge. the conversation ended up going deeper than Tirena had realized and soon she realized it was dark out. She had quickly excused herself to finish up the inventory of the items brought.
She had a strange feeling from that conversation, to which she recalled he had been observing her with such a warm emotion in his eyes. Opting not to dwell on the thought she returned to her responsibilities and paid the thought little heed for the week remaining.
The Massive guardian of brilliant color crossed Tirena's path a little while later and struck another conversation up. the pearlcatcher noticed the warmth of his voice quickly and felt strange. the conversation bloomed and they talked for the entire day, enjoying the tales that the other had to share. To follow, many more such days had come to pass before she realized that ZurKahm had found his charge: the young pearlcatcher herself, Tirena.
