Maria was a powerful arcane princess, however she was forced to flee her homeland due to a revolution which saw the monarchy she was part of destroyed. She lost everything, however her imense power still remains.

At first she fled to the plague lands, however she did not feel at home among the disease-ridden dragons there and after realisng that in those harsh lands you had to kill to survive, she moved ever further east until she reached the glowing realm of the Lightweaver.

Helia readily allowed Maria to join the clan, along with her friend, Violetta. Since then Maria has become one of the clans most important members, she is the first to be called to council when major issues arise and is almost certainly the most powerful of all of them, capable of devestating attacks due to unimaginable physical and mental ability.

Her liniage from a great monarchy of the Starfall Isles is still evident, she wears a scroll of glowing runes around her neck and her companion, an arcane sprite, an entourage of the arcanist himself, is ever present around her. Her eyes are a deep pink and she is often accompanied by a celestial comet as well.

She is elegant, beautiful and well-spoken. The clan have learnt not to cross her by now, but if anyone does, they are likely never to do so again.
