Noir, who runs the prison here. He used to be a merciless jailer in the Icewarden's service, but times have changed, and he's defrosted a little. Still, those who try to take advantage of hospitality... well, they may find themselves in the company of the old Noir. His ability to sense lies and fear is uncanny, yet he has difficulty reading other emotions, such as joy and affection. Those who work under him describe him as usually quite distant and professional, but by no means heartless. Despite his lack of warmth, he cares deeply for guards and prisoners alike. He treats those who have experienced great trauma, particularly in combat, with special care. Perhaps he sees himself in them?
